There’s nothing quite like the buzz of being surrounded by fellow creatives, a rainbow of colour, and a good old dose of crafty joy!

Wearing my favourite colourful dress (because why not match the craft table vibes?), I spent the day learning new techniques, seeing sneak peeks of upcoming products, and soaking in ideas that I can’t wait to share with you all in upcoming projects and classes.
The message behind me – “Make something that means something” – really resonated with me. That’s exactly why I craft, why I teach, and why I created Helen Smith Designs. Crafting isn’t just about making things… it’s about making memories, connections, and a little bit of joy for ourselves and others.
